Samburu Positive Living Network (SPLN) is a community-based organisation that was registered in 2010 under the ministry of gender, children and social services.
SPLN works to have well-enlightened community on HIV/AIDS prevention, reduce stigma, discrimination & strengthen advocacy on human rights towards PLHIV and comprehensive HIV prevention, Treatment and care for all. SPLN has been sub-granted by the KRCS through Global Fund to IMPLEMENT THE GF-HIV Grant in Samburu County since 2019. The organization is currently implementing 2 modules Treatment Care and Support and Human Rights and Gender Modules in the three sub Counties of Samburu County.
The grant seeks to increase access and uptake of HIV prevention services and commodities, promote community-based approaches to HIV service delivery, improve initiation and adhearence to treatment, reduce human right related barriers to hiv related services and strengthen community health systems.
